Coral Springs Short Sale Realtor gets another Short Sale Approved

Coral Springs Short Sale Realtor gets another Short Sale approved. 

This Seller was very happy to know that his Short Sale resulted in no deficiency for a 1st and 2nd mortgage on his home. He had to bring just over $5000 to have the balance of both of his mortgages released and waived of any deficiency. 

The Short Sale process went relatively well until the day of closing when the approval letter had to be updated to add a family member to the approval letter so the Buyer could get loan approval yet when the Sellers Lender updated the approval letter they failed to note both loan numbers as the original approval letter had indicated. Sure you think, no problem, just a typo and they'll add the 2nd loan number. STOP. Not so fast, they said the following morning as the closing negotiator said she couldn't do that because her system template wouldn't allow it. She said, you'll have to start the Short Sale all over. WHAT? Are you crazy, I said (not in those exact words).

So like I've had to do so many times before on other Short Sales that I've had approved here in Coral Springs and other South Florida Short Sales, I went up the ladder to managers until I found one that made things happen. I got the letter updated and we closed in the afternoon; we closed on a Short Sale. As a Coral Springs Short Sale Specialist, this type of scenario is not uncommon. You just really have to go to bat for your Sellers and you can never take "no" for an answer.  If it just doesn't make sense to me, there are no other options than to get someone, usually always management, that can get the job done for you. I just don't get it why there are staff at the Lenders that take the position as this particular closing officer did. Why is it that they don't have integrity to do the right thing?!
